My Studio
Keep your work in order, your way
Your files, your catalogues and your records in one place, sorted the way you actually work, and changed only when you say so.
What it is
One place for what you make
My Studio is where your photographs, video, documents and data live, with a catalogue that says what each thing is and where it belongs.
You do not have to learn a file structure. You pick a template or show us what you have, and we suggest how to describe it. You decide.
The four parts
Library, Catalogs, Records, Builder
Every part is planned; none is open to the public yet.
Library
One page for everything you have: a table, thumbnails, a tree of where things are filed, and a timeline. Search it, sort it twice, tick what you want and act on it.
Planned
Catalogs
The trees your things are sorted by. Open one to see what is filed where, and grow it beside, inside or over any branch.
Planned
Records
The page of one thing: what it is, who may see it, its files and its versions. Read it, or edit it.
Planned
Builder
Start from a template or from a file you bring. It suggests fields, shows the plan and the time it should take, and waits for you.
Planned
How it grows
Three directions, always named
Every list in My Studio grows the same three ways, and says which way you are going.
Beside
Another item at the same level: a new type next to the others, a new field next to the others.
Planned
Inside
A deeper level: a subtype under a type.
Planned
Over it
A rule, a template or a saved view that applies across it without changing its shape.
Planned
Whose things
Personal, Work or Social
Personal is yours alone and private until you publish.
Work is your workspace's, and your role decides what you may change. Social is what members publish, and you can change only your own.
