Copyright and takedown

Who owns what, and what to do if you believe something we hold or show infringes your copyright. We take such notices seriously and act on them.

Effective 6 October 2026
Chromatix Studios is operated by Sauce Technologies LLC, 803 Liberty Bell Ln.

The design, text, photographs and film on this website belong to Sauce Technologies LLC or are used with the permission of their owners. All rights are reserved. You may link to any page; please ask before reusing anything from it.

Work in the members' area belongs to the member who added it, or to whoever licensed it to them. We hold it on their behalf and claim no ownership of it.

The members' area is private: only people who have signed in can open it. Being able to see work there gives you no right to reuse it beyond what its owner allows.

If you believe that something on this website, or something held in the members' area, infringes your copyright, write to [email protected] with the subject "Copyright notice". So that we can act on it, include:

  • your name and how to reach you, and the name of the rights holder if you are acting for someone else;
  • what the work is that you say has been copied, with enough detail for us to recognise it;
  • where it appears: the address of the page, or as much as you know about the file if it is in the members' area and you cannot see it;
  • a statement that you believe, in good faith, that the use is not permitted by the rights holder or by law;
  • a statement that what you have told us is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act for them;
  • your signature, which may be your typed name.

When a notice has what we need, we:

  • tell you that we have received it;
  • look at the material and at what you have told us;
  • where the notice appears well founded, remove the material from this website, or restrict access to it in the members' area, while the matter is settled;
  • tell the person who added it, give them a copy of the notice, and explain how they can reply;
  • tell you what we have done.

If we have removed or restricted something you filed and you believe that was a mistake, or that you have the right to use it, reply to [email protected] with:

  • your name and how to reach you;
  • what was removed or restricted, and where it was;
  • why you believe the use is permitted, with any licence or permission you rely on;
  • a statement that what you have told us is accurate.

We pass your reply to the person who sent the notice. If the two of you agree, we follow what you agree. If you do not, we keep the material restricted until it is settled between you or by a court, unless it is clear to us that the notice was mistaken.

We may remove the sign-in of someone who repeatedly files material that infringes other people's rights. Sending a notice or a reply you know to be false may have legal consequences for you, and we may decline to act on further notices from the same sender.
