Privacy notice
What we hold about you, why we hold it and what you can ask of us. We keep it short: we hold little, we measure your visit only if you allow it and we do not sell anything about you.
Effective 6 October 2026
Chromatix Studios is operated by Sauce Technologies LLC, 803 Liberty Bell Ln.
Who we are
Chromatix Studios is a research, education and resource center for learning AI, operated by Sauce Technologies LLC of 803 Liberty Bell Ln. In this notice "we" means Sauce Technologies LLC.
Signing in is handled by one service for all of Chromatix Studios, at id.chromatixstudios.com. This notice covers that service too.
For anything in this notice, write to [email protected].
What this notice covers
It covers two things: this public website, which anyone can read without signing in, and the members' area, which can only be opened by signing in.
What we hold
We hold only what the site and the members' area need in order to work.
- Account identity. If you have a sign-in, our single sign-on service holds your name, your email address, an account identifier and the roles you have been given. The members' area receives these when you sign in. We do not receive your password from any other service.
- What you add. The work you add in the members' area, with the titles, descriptions and other details you record for it.
- Server logs. Our servers record requests made to them: the address requested, the time, the internet address it came from, the browser's description of itself and whether the request succeeded. We use these to keep the service running and secure.
- Cookies. A strictly necessary session cookie when you sign in, a security token that goes with it, and a record of your cookie choice. One optional cookie remembers a layout preference, and measurement keeps its own cookies and a note of where your visit came from; each only if you allow it. The cookie page lists each one.
Signing in with Google
You can sign in with a Google account instead of a password. Google asks your permission first and then gives our sign-in service three things from your Google account: your name, your email address, and the identifier Google uses for your account. We ask Google for nothing else. We cannot read your mail, your files, your contacts or your calendar, and we never see your Google password.
We use what Google gives us only to create your account, to recognise you when you sign in again and to show your name inside the service. If an account with that email address already exists, signing in with Google joins that account; it does not make a second one.
We do not sell this information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not give it to anyone except the businesses that host the service for us, as described under "Who sees it".
Our sign-in service records each sign-in (the time, the internet address it came from and whether it succeeded) and keeps that record for 90 days, to keep accounts secure.
You can take away our access at any time in your Google account's security settings, under the third parties that have access to it. To have your account with us and what Google gave us deleted, write to [email protected].
What we do not do
- We do not use advertising trackers, and no advertising network receives anything about your visit.
- We do not sell or rent information about you to anyone.
- We do not measure your visit unless you allow it on the cookie panel, and we do not follow you across other sites.
- We do not build a profile of you to make decisions about you.
Why we use it
- To let you sign in and to show you what your account is allowed to see.
- To store the work you add in the members' area and to show it there.
- To keep the service secure, find faults and stop misuse.
- To reply when you write to us.
- To meet obligations the law places on us.
Who sees it
What you add in the members' area is seen by the people who are signed in there, and by the members of our team who keep the service running.
We use other businesses to host and carry the service. They handle information only on our instructions and only to provide that service to us.
We disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep an account for as long as it is in use and remove it when the account holder asks us to close it. We keep server logs for a limited period and then delete them.
How we look after it
The members' area cannot be read without signing in. What an account can see and change is set by its role. We limit access within our own team to the people who need it.
No service can promise that nothing will ever go wrong. If something does and it affects you, we will tell you what happened and what we are doing about it.
What you can ask of us
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. You can change your cookie choice at any time from "Cookie settings" at the foot of every public page.
Write to [email protected]. We may need to check who you are before we act.
Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights, including the right to complain to a public authority. We will tell you which authority if you ask.
Changes to this notice
When we change this notice we change the effective date at the top. If a change affects how we use what we already hold about you, we will tell account holders before it takes effect.
