Acceptable use

The rules for everyone who uses this website or signs in to the members' area. They are part of our terms and are here to protect members' work and each other.

Effective 6 October 2026
Chromatix Studios is operated by Sauce Technologies LLC, 803 Liberty Bell Ln.

Who these rules are for

Everyone who visits this website, and everyone who has a sign-in: members and our own team.

What we expect

  • Keep your sign-in to yourself.
  • Add only work you have the right to add, and describe it truthfully.
  • Tell us promptly if you see something that should not be there, or think an account has been misused.

What is not allowed

You must not use the site or the members' area to:

  • file, store or share anything unlawful, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
  • file images, film or sound of a person in a way that breaks their rights or a promise made to them;
  • upload anything meant to damage or take over a computer or a service;
  • reach, or try to reach, a file or an account you have not been given access to;
  • get around sign-in, access controls or limits, or test them without our written agreement;
  • copy what is in the members' area in bulk by automated means, unless we have agreed it;
  • place a load on the service that gets in the way of other people using it;
  • pass yourself off as someone else, or hide who a request comes from;
  • harass, threaten or deceive anyone.

Robots, crawlers and AI agents

Automated visitors may read the public pages. The file at /robots.txt says which pages those are; follow it. These rules bind a program as they bind the person or organisation that runs it.

  • Say who you are: send a user agent that names the operator and a way to reach them.
  • Read at a gentle pace. If we answer 429 or 503, slow down and come back later.
  • Public pages may be indexed for search and quoted with a link back to the page.
  • An agent acting for a signed-in person may do what that person may do, for that person only, and only because they asked it to.
  • Do not sign in, send forms or create accounts by automated means otherwise.
  • Do not collect personal details of people from the site.
  • Pages behind sign-in, and the work members have added there, are never for crawling, for building datasets or for training models.

Media that shows people

If you file media that shows identifiable people, it is your responsibility to hold the permissions that needs, such as releases from the people shown, and to respect any limits placed on its use. Record those limits with the media so that others see them.

What we may do

If we believe these rules have been broken we may restrict access to the work concerned and suspend the sign-in involved. Where we can, we say what we are doing and why before we do it; where there is a risk to the service or to other members we may act first.

We cooperate with lawful requests from the authorities.

Reporting a problem

Write to [email protected], saying what you saw and where. If it is about copyright, the copyright and takedown page says what to include.
